Add & Remove tab are grayed for administrator
I have 2003 standard R2 server. Problem is not able to login to server with administartor account throgh Remote Desktop. Error is You donot have permission through terminal services....
I ran command gpedit.msc from run prompt and went to computerconfiguration\windows settings\security settings\local policies\user rigts assignment. there I found administrator is not listed. But unfortunately the tabs are grayed & I am not able to add any user. I tried to go administrative tools\domain controller security policy & administrative tools \ domain security policy. It throughs error acess denied. Please guide me what could be wrong! Note:- One month back I have changed the IP of the server to join the range of my network & connected physically through cat6 cable to my switch. That is all.... |

Re: Add & Remove tab are grayed for administrator
It sounds like the account you are using doesn't have administrator privileges on the server you're trying to make changes on... or its restricted some how.

Re: Add & Remove tab are grayed for administrator
Make sure that the administrator account on that machine is allowed to access terminal server. That would be in the user profile for that account. Obviously you may have to be at the server and logged in to it to do that.
