WMI Filtering

I wanted to know if it was possible to Apply a Policy by an IP Address

We have over 50 SiteS At the moment and have a script which is added to every machine, this runs on log on checks the IP if it is a Site which uses our proxy settings then it deploys the proxy change. or leaves it blank

I wanted to apply this via WMI Filtering. instead of adding it to everymachine

Can this be done?
if so what is the coding for it?

Re: WMI Filtering

"Validation logic" in Scriptlogic's desktop authority is much more granular for applying settings than wmi filtering and group policy.

In our company we migrated to this technology a while ago and it really simplified a lot of things.

It can apply not only proxy configuaration like you were looking for, but many other settings like, for example, drive and printer mappings, outlook profile configuration, usb security and more.
