DVD Rom plays really choppy
Hi
I just put a DVD Rom into a Win2000 computer. It has 256MB of Ram, an 866Mhz Processor, and a Riva TNT2 Vanta AGP Video Card in it. The DVD Rom that I put into it is a Toshiba DVD Rom SD-M1202. It worked, but really choppy, the sound seemed to be repeating itself and I really don't think anyone could stand to watch a video this way. I'm wondering if it's because the computer can't process fast enough or is it because the software I used (a prograqm I found on the internet) isn't quite compatible with it. I had this exact DVD Rom and the same software on a Win XP comp, with twice as much ram and a better processor and it worked just fine. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks computersrkool |
