Have done migration as in microsofts instructions and after setup get "server could not be promoted to domain controller" + Windows starts and whenever I run exchange I get loads of error saying that elements were not installed.
Any ideas where to start? |

Re: Headache - 2003 - 2008 Migration
you have exchange installed on a server and you want to make that same server a DC?
I am guessing you already have one DC on the network. You can not install exchange, then make it a DC. You need to make a server a dc, then install exchange (i would not install exchange and dc on the same server .. loads of problems.) You also can not remove a dc from a server that has exchange, you need to uninstall exchange first. |
