Server 2003 booting to blank desktop
Hello all,
Upon rebooting a server today to try and resolve some random sql problems, I logged in to find an empty desktop. Waiting for a while, it doesnt do anything. Ctrl-alt-del brings up the usual, and I can start task manager. I seem to be able to run .exe's fine however anything that is .msc says the class isnt registered. If I try to run explorer.exe it loads and goes away immediately, no messages. Reboot doesnt help, safe mode does the same thing. Any ideas? Dell Server - Server 2003 R2 |
