VPN Issue
Hello :)
Well here it is, I am renting a dedicated server from a host. I tried to create a vpn connection. After going through the necessary process, i am able to dial into the server via VPN without any problems. But there is 1 issue here. Once i am connected, I cannot access the internet from my computer, but i can still browse / access the resource from the server via windows remote desktop. When i check the ip of the vpn connection it shows: Server IP address : 192.168.1.23 Client IP address : 192.168.1.24 This is because i have set the ip address at the routing table from range 192.168.1.23 to 192.168.1.24. If i were to go to run --> CMD --> ipconfig /all from the server, here is the results that i see. Quote:
From another vpn on another server (commercial vpn) The server ip address : 213.xx.xx.xx (which is not a local ip address unlike mine) client ip address : 192.16.1.19 (which is a local ip address) How do i solve this issue? :) |
