32 Bit and 64 Bit Print Driver Help
I just have a quick question.....
I have a 32 bit terminal server and I have a 64 bit vista client connecting to this server. To allow him to use his local printer I know I have to install the drivers onto the TS. Now heres my question..What drivers do I put on the server? 64 bit or 32 bit? He has a HP Laserjet 3015 and he is using Vista 64 bit....Do I have to load the 64 bit drivers on the server? Here is the page of all the drivers for this printer: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=378050&taskId=135&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=378048&submit=Go%20»&cc=us&lang=en Thanks, GHock |

Re: 32 Bit and 64 Bit Print Driver Help
yes you would need the 64 bit drivers on the server. If you only have the 32 bit drivers then the 64 bit OS won't know what to do with them.
Alternatively, you could load the 64bit drivers directly on the Vista unit.
