Re: server drivers not working at all
Did you open the Device Manager to make sure that any Hardware Devices are not displaying a Yellow Symbol with an Exclamation mark?
SP3 does not exist yet your Server 2003. |

Re: server drivers not working at all
Adding to the above reply, you need to make sure that the drivers you have selected are for your motherboard and related devices AND that they're for the operating system you're working with. Often, but not always, the drivers made for Windows 2000 will work with Windows Server 2003, BUT it's best to use the drivers for the specific OS. As for applications, there's no rule that says ALL applications for XP will work on 2003, many will, but since 2003 has newer system files, some just won't work correct.
If you could provide some information like the kind of desktop hardware you're trying to get running correctly and the software you're having issues with, I'm sure there are people here that could assist you.

Re: server drivers not working at all
You will need to look at the manufacturers website (of each device)to see if they make Server 2003 Drivers for your hardware. Just because you can install it does not mean it was intended for your home built PC.

Re: server drivers not working at all
i already did i went to the support website and downloaded the drivers i used them once win xp i had to reinstall it once after i had linux on it and i had to change it to ntfs format cause i had it on fat32 even though it was compatable. so i put the drivers on it and it worked then i decided to make it into a server. im thinking about putting it onto another computer is it likely that i will run into this problem again on the other computer
