W2k sp4 services.exe cpu usage
Dear all,
I am experiencing problems with my company laptop that our support guys haven't been able to solve. From time to time the cpu usage claimed by services.exe reaches 99% for longer perios of time, causing my system to slow down to a stall. I am running a Lenovo thinkpad T60 with Centrino duo processor @ 1.83 GHZ and 512 MB RAM. as an example, my current task managerstates services.exe has claimed 30 minutes cpu time, where idle time was 27 minutes, and the next in line is iexplore with 3 minutes cpu time. This was all during well over 1 hour of surfing the internet over a wireless connection. Is there a way to find the cause for the enormous cpu usage of services.exe?
