Dear Techies...
I am facing a problem in windows2003 server. i just breif the problem... 1.Created DATA folder in that SALES, TECHNICAL, FINANCE three subfolders belongs to three same groups 2.DATA is parent folder so any one from SALES,TECHNICAL AND FINANCE should not have write permissions in parent folder but each individual should have full permissions in their subfolders. i tried but getting access denied... can any one help me...... |

1) on each sub-folder RIGHT CLICK>PROPERTIES>SECURITY>ADVANCED Un-check the Inherit properties from Parent
2) DO NOT EVER (unless in a very special circumstance) use the DENY buttons on the properties. Just remove groups and members it's much easier that way. |
