User Monitoring Problem...
We are running Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services. I frequently use the remote control function to view and help users with problems. The remote control feature has two versions: view only or control. It appears to be an all or nothing feature meaning that I can't choose to allow a certain person to only view while I still have the control function.
Here's my problem: I need to allow supervisors to monitor user's computer usage. All the monitoring/recording/spying programs out there do not work in terminal services enviroments. I gave one of the supervisors the ability to use the remote control function in terminal services but because it is set to allow controling of the remote session, it doesn't work well for just watching what a user is doing without the user knowing. Does anyone know of a program to accomplish what I need or is it possible to set a user to have the view only remote control in terminal services or does anyone have any other ideas? |
