Domain help
im trying to setup a test lab for myself in a vmware infrastructure at my work. I have two win2003 vm's and one XP vm. I would like to make one of the win2003 VM's a domain controller.
Let's say our main network is called domain.net there is a child domain in domain.net called test.domain.net. I was hoping to make my domain fall under the test.domain.net domain because thats where everyone else makes their test domains. however, when i try making my domain called shlammed and put it in test.domain.net it says it cannot find a domain controller for test.domain.net. I'm just a little confused as to how there are so many domains under test.domain.net and how they are all being created. i.e. my coworker has his test environment called lab.test.domain.net. |
