No SOUND in Windows Server 2003!!!!
Ok, I am about to tear my hair out here. I run a headless server that uses Windows Server 2003 Standard. I am trying to use my new Linksys Music bridge with it. It works GREAT if I were to stream the music by directly using the server. However, when I go to remote with Remote Desktop, the audio device switches back to Microsoft RDP Audio.
I have done just about everything I can think of. I tell it to leave sounds on the host computer, I went into Group Policy terminal services and had Audio Redirection enabled, I even tried poking around in the registry to see if I could force it to recognize the Linksy Bridge under RDP, but nothing I try is working! Please help! |
