Printer group policy on windows 2003 SBS?
Hi,
My client owns a 2003 SBS server (not R2 I believe). I would like to set forth a policy that will automatically allow all domain users to able to access the office's printers at logon. Is it possible? DJ |

Re: Printer group policy on windows 2003 SBS?
The easiest way would be to use a .vbs logon script to a group policy within an OU in the domain.
Set WSHNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network") WSHNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection "<Name of Printer>" Save the file as .vbs in a shared resource clients can connect to (Read permissions). Target this file using group policy to run at logon: User Configuration > Windows Settings > Scripts > Logon Hope this helps, Dan. |
