GPO rules
Two questions today:
1. How does one see the content of a poicy - the detail that makes a policy work? and 2. My problem: We have created a user called Inett - allows a user to log on to the Internet using remote desktop on the domain controler (W2003 server). These users cannot run flask of activeX from this accout. A different user group that logs directly onto the same server, but without using remote desktop, and looking at the same sites, can run flash and activeX. This is used in a teaching environment where the "students" are not generally allowed Internett access, hence the special user. Any help or suggestions will be greatlly appreciated. -David |

Re: GPO rules
You go into Start/administrative tools/Group policy editor open up forrest/domains/yourlocaldomain. Then you should see a list of group policies which you can right click and edit. This will show you everything. Please be careful as you can make users very unhappy if you "play" with the settings too much. As For your active x problem it could be related to gp settings but there are lots of other setting which can effect this. Hope this helps
