Indexing Service excluded files are found
I'm working on a site which uses Indexing Service to search the files. Some folders are secured through forms authentication and the files in these folders should only show up in the search results when the user is logged in. To do this I excluded the folder from the catalog and this appears to work fine on my development machine. On the test machine however it does not work. When we create the catalog it appears to work, but when I copy my test page (in the same folder) it is found, even though the folder has been excluded.
I don't have direct access to the test machine, I need an administrator for that. They, as well as me, are at a loss here. On the surface it seems that my environment is the same as on the test machine (server 2003) and we create the catalog in the same way. Still it only works locally. I have no idea what to look for, user rights maybe? I hope someone can point me in the right direction. |
