While I was sitting on my computer, innocently watching YouTube, my computer froze, completely. I thought "This is abnormal" and got up to restart the computer. After sitting back down and watching it restart, to my horror, I witnessed the infamous Blue Screen of Death/Stop Error screen.
I restarted my computer, like it said; which did not help one bit. It told me to Run Chkdsk \F, which I would love to do, if only I could get that far. I have tried booting up in Safe Mode, and using the Last Known Good Configuration; both of which did not work. I even tried making an MS-DOS start up disk using my mothers laptop which has XP, but could only get so far as a A:\> prompt. After that, I'm stuck. I can think of no reason why this could have happened, because I haven't made any major changes in a long time. If there is any easy way to resolve this, I would be very grateful to any answers. Thank you in advance... ~Josh |

Re: Inaccessible_boot_device BSOD for no clear reason
Thanks, but I'm not quite so computer smart that I know how to do that. I'd buy the Spinrite, though it sounds like a CD, and my D drive wont open. Hopefully my friend can come up from Buffalo in a couple weeks and fix everything.
