Error in logging into a DOMAIN in win 2003 server
Am getting 'system cannot log you on now because the domain STAFFS is not available' error when i try to login in to STAFFS domain. What amazes me is that, if i use the server computer username and password it logins in fine unlike other users am creating who cant even login. I have read alot from various blogs concerning this but they all talk about network cable removed. Am creating domain users and test login using another computer. I have done this for 3 days. Where am i going wrong? My domain is local.

Re: Error in logging into a DOMAIN in win 2003 server
Make sure that you have the DNS service configured on the server and then make sure that the client computers have the IP address of the server as their DNS server. Typically it's because the workstations cannot find the server by domain name since it's a "local" domain and not one that would be found using your ISP's DNS servers.
