Registry tune up

I would like to tune up the registry on our Windows 2000 server and Windows 2000 work stations to stop the irregular crashes that occur when using MsAccess 97 and MsAccess 2000.

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Re: Registry tune up

Thank you for your idea, but we only want to tune up Microsoft Access 97 and 2000.

Which this software will not help us with.

Re: Registry tune up

I'm not sure that you'd find much in the way of application specific registry tune-up software, especially with applications so old. That being said, what kind of errors are you getting? Also is this something that's always happened, or is it something that's been getting worse. Pardon the expression, but sometimes trying to keep a long installed operating system stable is like polishing a turd, it makes no sense. Sometimes you can actually save time by doing a clean install of the OS and applications instead of fighting it.

Re: Registry tune up

There is a registry change for MsAccess that one of our customer's staff did, which stopped MsAccess crashes.

BUT, the staff member has left and no one knows what the registry entry was.
