Exchange 2003 Backup
Thank you so much for your continued support.
I will request excuse to ask questions which may be so obvious. I am running exchange std edition on a win2k3 SBS server. I perform daily system state backups and also exmerge for Mail boxes. What is the best approach towards securing exchange? 1. Should i be doing daily exmerge of mailboxes or full exchange backups. 2. If I have a system state backup and PSTs from exmerge, can i be able to restore exchange server in its entirety? 3. If I backup the entire system, I believe i will backup all data in mailboxes. Is that right? 4. How often should i be doing full system backups, or full exchange backups. 5. Are there any free softwares for backing up MS Exchange because am finding Exmerge cumbersome. Thank you so much, Novice Admin |
