DNS issues
Hi
I would like to know how can I configure DNS to redirect one website to other website. Senario : when someone type in www. abc.com it will go to www.home.com so what I did in my external DNS server, under abc.com I created a cname for www = www.home.com but it doesn't work. The webpage cannot be found HTTP 400 Most likely causes: There might be a typing error in the address. If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date. What you can try: Retype the address. Go back to the previous page. Go to www.abc.com and look for the information you want. More information This error (HTTP 400 Bad Request) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the web server, but the webpage could not be found because of a problem with the address. For more information about HTTP errors, see Help. any idea.... do I need to add/change anything on the header on the web server on www.abc.com any suggestions would be appreciated. Regards Dee |
