how can i configure 2 NIC in the same PC?
hi mates
i have 2 NIC eth0 and eth1 and i need to connect one to internet and other to switch(LAN), for me they are same for that i dont know how i can configure them , i think the one on top is etho and eth1 under it,is it right? pls if you could help with this? many thanks mates |

I believe there is no global standard --> I would not bet on it
Assuming you have another device to connect to (PC, router...), I would connect 1 nic and that device to your switch/hub and ping it. If it works, you have identified your nic !! If it doesn't, try the other nic... Cheers |
