_msdcs records missing in DNS
Hi,
Im running SBS 2003 R2, I have a problem now where no new pc's can join the domain! . I have been told that the problem lies with my forward lookup zone in DNS dont have any _mcdsc,_sites,_tcp,_udp records. I deleted the zones and recreated them, however all I get is _mcdsc.domain.local container created. The subfolders _mcdsc,_sites,_tcp,_udp dont seem to create again. Please help!. Also the the domain controller Server is not in the domain list when you browse the network, all the clients pcs seem to be there. The Clients that are on the domain already seem to login ok - but cannot access any shared folders on the server. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Kash |
