OS: Windows 2003 Advance Server
|
Hi,
I am running a machine with Windows 2003 Advance Server, There is a SQL SERVER 2005 services are also running, when i leave the office i simply lock the machine and go home because there are many job need to be performed by SQL Server during night time. In recent past Windows 2003 Server was working perfectly but from a couple of days back it reacting in a strang manner ... Problem with the machine: When machine keept un touched over 4-6 hours local area network went to sort of sleep mode ... although other machine on the same network working perfectly but in my machine there is a cross appears over local area network icon on the task bar ... All SQL Server jobs failed due to this problem. And its difficult to run jobs at day time due to heavy load over database servers. i am unable to figure out that why local area network disabled automaticly and when you logon again it enabled automaticlly ... strang for me ... if any one know please tell me what to do ... thanks in advance MIZ |
