Active Directory and Internet
I want to set up an Active Directory infrastructure on a Windows Server 2003 supporting XP pro machines. I have a switch and the network is on a 192.168.2.0/24 private addressing scheme. I also want to enable internet access and i have an ADSL connection.
I want to implement Microsoft ISA server on the Win 2003 so that all XP machines have restricted access to the Internet. I want to configure DHCP server on Win 2003 for XP machines to obtain their IP addresses. If i connect the ADSL modem to the switch on the 192.168.2.0/24 network and assign a default gateway of the ADSL modem's IP then i think the XP machines will not go through the ISA server and will have unrestricted access to the Internet. I can have an additional interface on Win 2003 to connect to the ADSL modem and i can assign put them on a 192.168.1.0/24 network. How can i make the XP machines connect to the Internet? Any help will be great. |
