If you are talking about XP you have to run Pro. Home versions of XP will not connect to a domain. When it comes to servers that verys greatly depending on the servers function. Linux is a very popular server OS as it is greatly cheaper to implement than a M$ server OS. Windows is also popular for ease of use(less command line work).
As for actual statistics on business deployment I am not sure. I am sure that would be list a marketing department somewhere has compiled for sales reasons. |
