OS: XP SP2
|
I have two separate clients that work for two separate companies each is experiencing nearly identical issues with missing emails. One is missing a block of 3 days (2/22 - 2/25/08) and the other is missing nearly 12 days of emails. The emails are both missing in Outlook and in OWA. They both have hundreds of emails before and at least 50-75 after. It's as if a blackhole swept through and just swallowed up those emails.
In both cases the desktop OS is XP Pro SP2 running Outlook 2003 as the client. So far in addition to checking via OWA I've made sure that the filters were set correctly, doublechecked that the outlook.pst location was correct, ran the scan tool on the .pst file. Unfortunately neither server is running email recovery or I would have tried that. Any suggestions are more than welcomed! Thanks! |

Re: Disappearing emails
Aside from a virus, Spyware, Malware, etc. I am guessing a malicious person. That is about the only thing I can think of that would cause this.
