Group POlicy Logon Scripts
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this thread and using Windows as a AD. I use to have a Samba Server (and boy as this easier LOL). Basicly what i want to do is be able to assign diffrent logon scripts for diffrent groups. Basicly the gorups Domain Admins and Domain Users should have two diffrent logon scripts. These scripts will obiously probaly need to be in two diffrent folders and setup to execute the logons cript on startup. Now i am totally new to this entire deal, so please tell me how to do this step by step. The other thing is, only the user group should be able to see their group scripts. so \\SERVER\NETLOGON should be setup to be the users scripts. Please help! |

Re: Group POlicy Logon Scripts
You can assign each user a different logon script via AD users and computers. If you go to AD Users and Computer>Users(or where ever you keep your users)>Properties for the User>Profile Tab. You can specify which script you would like to use.
