Hi guys
Not familiar with Exchange (Groupwise man, don't hate me ;)) but I have had a query regarding the workings of Exchange. When I send an email and CC in other people - is it then possible to remove the CC'd recipients server side? The story behind the query is that a company has sent information to my company - the CC line includes a competitors email address. After querying them about this they have responded by saying that the system has a 15 minute send delay, they contacted their IT who intercepted the email, deleted the one destined for a CC. As it is fingerprinted you still see all the original recipeints etc. Is this possible to achieve? Cheers! Neil Last edited by Jock_McTartan; 02-22-2008 at 10:01 AM. |

Re: Removing CC recipient quer
You need to do a BCC not a CC. If you send an email with a BCC recipient it is as if they are the only one that received that particular email.

Was querying the functionality of Exchange to remove individual messages destined for an external address (there is a 15 minute delay before sending) You can use exmerge for internal messages but not sure if you can for the outbound queue? |
