Thumbs Up Removing CC recipient query

Hi guys

Not familiar with Exchange (Groupwise man, don't hate me ;)) but I have had
a query regarding the workings of Exchange.

When I send an email and CC in other people - is it then possible to remove
the CC'd recipients server side?

The story behind the query is that a company has sent information to my
company - the CC line includes a competitors email address.
After querying them about this they have responded by saying that the system
has a 15 minute send delay, they contacted their IT who intercepted the
email, deleted the one destined for a CC. As it is fingerprinted you still
see all the original recipeints etc.

Is this possible to achieve?

Cheers!

Neil

Re: Removing CC recipient quer

You need to do a BCC not a CC. If you send an email with a BCC recipient it is as if they are the only one that received that particular email.

Thanks - I know about BCC, that's not what i was asking.
Was querying the functionality of Exchange to remove individual messages destined for an external address (there is a 15 minute delay before sending)
You can use exmerge for internal messages but not sure if you can for the outbound queue?
