Question GPO remove NETWOTK SERVICE account from security tab of folder's property box

Hi,
I obtained this error message by starting an asp.net Web application :
The current identity (NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE) does not have write access to 'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files'
I solved it by adding the NETWORK SERVICE account to the list of the accounts that have the write access to the folder (Temporary ASP.NET Files).

But when the group policy is applied by gpupdate /force or else the NETWORK SERVICE account is missing from the security tab of the property box
OS : Windows server 2003

How come you created another thread? As I told you in you Other thread I was going to look this up for you. Everyone here does what they can on their own time to help everyone so please be patient. Creating a duplicate thread will not get your questions answered any quicker.

As stated above, please do not create multiple threads on the same topic.

here is a quote from the forum rules:

Quote:
MULTIPLE POSTING

This refers to posting the same question or same replies in multiple areas of the site (also called flooding). Please only post only once. If you feel you have posted in the wrong forum, contact a Moderator or Manager, who will move the post for you. This also includes the creation of multiple new threads on the same or similar topics and sending PM's continuously to one or more Staff members.
rules can be found here
