Windows server 2003 - Page file usage
I have a server running Windows server 2003, it has to be rebooted frequently, usually this is because users are unable to RDC to the box.
I suspect its a performance issue, and recently have been monitoring the page file size. Pver the past 24hrs it has increased from 1.45gb to 2.45gb (server was rebooted the day before). I'm currently monitoring the situation but suspect that this is the cause of the server eventually becoming inaccesible to remote users. |

Re: Windows server 2003 - Page file usage
If the server is becoming unavailable to RDC it sounds like there is an issue with the DNS. I assume they are trying to RDC via the computer name.
Have you check the log files to see if there are any DNS errors? |
