Tape backup/Arcserve r11.5 SP2 (Build 4232)
I have Arcserve r11.5 SP2 (Build 4232) setup to backup my Win2003 Server at 10pm every night. The server has 256.2 gigs of data and is backed up on a 300 gig tape. For each day of the week (Mon - Fri), we have a seperate data disk, thus keeping a daily record. Every morning the data disk is replaced and the data is delated, ready for the backup procedure.
However, recently I have been having trouble with the daily backup's. When I arrive in the morning, the server is display's the following message "Please mount a blank media to continue the backup". This has happened every day for the past week, hence I need some advice. I have not changed any settings, and am using the same data disks as before. The data being backed up (256.2 GB) is not greater than the capacity of the backup media (300 GB). Has anyone who uses Arcserve ever come across this problem? I would be most grateful for your input. |
