[SOLVED] Server 2003

I recently got a new server and a workstation and set it up as a domain controller and file server i created a folder in one of the drives called users and added my kids names as folders.

I put my kids into Active directory and then gave there folders a modify permission.(Each kid sees there own folder).

I run the workstation and logon as one of the kids(This workstation is now a member of the domain) i haven't setup scripts at this stage, I go to the run command and type in \\server and i get all the shares however i cant get into the users folder.

I have checked the permissions i have domain users in the ACL the admin account cant get in either.

What have i done thats wrong?
