Microsoft SMTP Service and TNEF/Microsoft Rich text Format
Hi There,
We have a mail relay in our DMZ which is a Microsoft ISA server running the Microsoft SMTP service. This relays incoming mail to our internal network which runs Notes servers. The MS SMTP Service on the ISA Server appears to be converting certain emails with attachments to Microsoft Rich Text format which is not exactly compatible with everyone else's rich text format, therefore the text of the email comes through OK but the attachment comes through as a C.DTF file. Can anyone help me switch off Rich Text format on the MS SMTP Service? I believe it is also known as TNEF. |
