Hi
I am having a problem with Norton Ghost 8.3 on a Windows 2003 server (64 bit) The backup reports everything ok., but when I try to restore it freeze when it is half done, leaving a useless server. After restoring an older image redoing all modifications, it worked fine again. Now, a few months later the restore is failling once again.... One thing I learned the last time, is that if the restore fails, the Ghost Explorer will also crash trying to open the image, so after that I have checked all images (the server is therefore still running) I have tried to move some files around, delete a number of files and defragment the disk, but nothing helps, everytime Ghost reports everything ok. after the backup, but the image is still corrupted ![]() Does anyone have any experience with this kind of problems? It seems to me, that it must be something in the operating system that is causing this... Regards Michael |
