Err using Sharepoint Designer for Backup / Restore

Hey all,

I have a MOSS 2007 installed on a Windows 2003 server along with MS Sharepoint designer 2007. I backed up our old web site and am having a problem restoring it to a new server. I opened the local site in MS Sharepoint Designer on the new server. I clicked on Site , then Administration then Restore Web Site. Next I found the location of the backup.cmp file and started the restore. This worked for a few seconds with some messages flashing by: ":Uploading archive files" then "Restoring Archive files". Next however the error I got was:
"No Read/Write access to import location.
I, as a user, appear in the central admin console, I can open my account and it indicates that I have full control. I am a Farm Admin, site collection admin and have full control under Central
Site Admin" on the Sharepoint 2007 Server.

Can someone help please?

Scott

Hi Scott! Did you ever get a solution to this problem? It seems to be the same as I and I can't find information anywhere. ~ S
