Folder Redirection Problem
Hey guys in our domain network our users are using roaming profiles, and 2
days ago i just enabled folder redirection for the my docs, application data, desktop, and startup. after configuring Folder Redirection using basic config. the next day they were changes on our user desktop environtment, some of the important program were missing in thier programs and all users who are also using folder redirection showed up in their programs. The first thing that i did was re-config folder redirection and allow only my docs and desktop to be redirected, update the users GP and restart their PC but the effect is still there. so what i did was i removed the GP configured with the folder redirection and disabled our users roaming profiles. and to my surprise folders redirection is still functioning the synchronizing our users my docs and desktop and still the problem was not solved. very desperate to get our users be able to work i just deleted our users profile on each or their workstations and loaded the default user profiles... can anyone give your insights...:) |
