Reg Restriction

I have windows 2003 SP2, I want to restric users to save executable(.exe) files on my MAP Drive.
Kindly help me on this.

To my knowledge this cannot be done with Server 2003 SP2 without third party software but in Server 2003 R2 you can.

All i can say to help you is try look for some software on the web that would offer that funtion to you. Sorry i cant be more help to you.

Do we have any third party software to restrict these exe files

I had a quick look on the web and could not find any any software that would allow you to do such a thing. (i thought there would have been something out there)

If it is really maybe you should consider migrating over to R2?
If you are considering migrating over to Server 2003 R2, make sure you do your research as there are quite a few changes in R2 that would need to be identified and that it would suit before such an action.

i cannot migrate to R2, please help me if there is any utility which can do that
