Exclamation System Shutdown

I am having a problem with Lssas.exe (or lsass.exe not sure about the spelling).

After the message comes, a message saying System Shutdown comes up (it shuts down the comp. in 60 seconds).

I have tried alot of things to delete it (getting sasser worm removers), but none of them work. So if anyone has any ideas to fix this problem, i would appreciate it.

thanks in advance.

Re: System Shutdown

First, do you get the message in safe mode? If you haven't tried running the uninstall utilities in safe mode, do so. If that doesn't work, I would take the hard drive out, and slave it in another computer and scan it with a good antivirus program. Worst case is that the virus has done damage to files in the Windows directory, which can be redone with a standard repair of Windows. Hope this helps.
