Unable to map drives
Hi,
I am logging into a remote server 1 from my PC and I tried to map drives to this server from another server 2. The drives that I want to map are drives that ussually works before but now it is shutting me out and there is this error: 'Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect'. I tried pinging the server 2 and it is reading. Can someone help me in this situation. Thanks so much. James |

Re: Unable to map drives
This sounds like an access permission issue. Are you using AD? Make sure that the user attempting to map the drive has access rights to the root of the share.
