Re: error on server, restart

This is normally attributed to a windows restart from automatic updates or WSUS.

Re: error on server, restart

On a server you should never have it automaatically restart. This would include the options for Windows updates.

For servers choose to have it download the updates and for you to choose when to install them. This way when you have downtime (after business hours) you can install the updates.
You can change the settings for automatic updates through the control panel.

Re: error on server, restart

You really do need to disable it completely. Just don't let is install automatically. This way you will be aware if any updates are avalible.
