Hi all,
I have been running a windows server 2k3 machine for some time now, and have spent lots of time learning and building web applications, but now I have encountered a web app that is supposed to be easy to set up. I am in the process of moving everything from my old server to my new one. On my old server, I have sharp webmail setup and running. It doesn't require a database or anything other than its own files. I set it up a while bck and had no problems getting it to work. Now I am trying to get it moved to my new serer and am stumped. I have IIS 6 configured exactly the same as on my old server. I have my wwwroot in INETPUB as well as webmailroot. I have a virtual directory named webmail pointed at the webmailroot folder. I have all the permissions set the same as on the old server, and the default document is set properly to default.asp. When I try to go to it in IE, I get an error saying that the file or directory requested cant be found. I get the same error on the localost and from a remote machine. I have tried to backup IIS on the old server and then restore that to the new server with no avail. If anyone could help, I would be very greatfull. Thanks.
