Monitor blinks out
I have an "older" PC (1GHz/650MB RAM) that I built running windows 2000 advanced server. I have this annoying problem where the monitor goes black for a second and then comes back. At first I thought it was the monitor but when I switched it to a different PC it worked fine. I thought it was a video card problem so I swapped out the card for another one that I had and still had the same problem. I tried different drivers to see if that was the broblem, but no luck there either.
I noticed that this never happens outside of windows, nor does it happen during things like using word, excel, games, using windows media player with video or audio etc... BUT, I notice it happening repeatedly when I access a website like youtube or if I hit a website that has a lot of ads with movement. Any thoughts on this?
