SQL basic help?

I am looking for very basic help on MS SQL. Is this the right place to post a thread? If so, do you know of a website where I can get beginer info on SQL? And I mean Lamens terms like the definitions of the colors, introduction, etc.

Thanks,
Denvernative

Try these, they worked for me:
http://www.1keydata.com/sql/sql.html
http://www.tizag.com/sqlTutorial/sqlsyntax.php

or the baby of the bunch:
http://www.w3schools.com/sql/

Re: SQL basic help?

Hi,

SQL (Structured Query Language) is a computer language aimed to store, manipulate, and retrieve data stored in relational databases.

Simply follow the links above to get more info on SQL itself together with syntax and descriptions.

Best Regards

Rob
