Windows 2000 server
Hi, I am looking to make my windows 2000 server a PDC. 2000 server is already installed on the computer so I just need help in making it a PDC and I was hoping some of you kind peolple could help me out on what I nned to do. Much appreciated with any help.

I love those quick and easy answers. Good thing you have Windows 2000 because that is all you have to do. For some reason with Windows Server 2003 you have to manually add DNS to the DC's prior to running DC promote because it doesn't do it by default. I don't know why MS left that nifty configuation out of the design.

The migration from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 has said to be a tricky one.
