External HD for WIN2003 Server OS

Hi,

At my office we use Win 2003 Server and are currently looking for an external hard drive to attach to the server which will create more space for everyone to use.

The problem is all of the external HD’s we have looked at, do not support the WIN 2003 Server OS. Does anyone know of one we can use? Or even a possible generic driver that can be used for this?

Thanks in advance for help on this one!

My System

This shouldn't be a problem. We are currently using a Lacie 300GB USB external HDD with no problems.
When you plug the drive into the USB port, it should show as another drive.

I see, thanks for your help.
The ones we have looked at dont say they support this OS.
We even contacted some of their Tech supports who have said they doubt the server would recognise the drive.....I personally didnt think it would cause an issue, but didnt want to splash out on the cash just in case....thanks for your help!
