Hi folks,
Having a problem concerning cluster shares. I have set up my initial share g:\users using cluster manager and ticked "share subdirectories" After creating a users directory we'll call him "Joe Bloggs" and assigning NTFS permissions full access for joe i click on refresh and "hey presto" his homespace is shared, big smile happy chap. PROBLEM. on the actual share for joe it now says everyone = full access. I think logically that NTFS permissions will stop wayward prying eyes but no, any tom, dick or harriet can now brows joes private files and have fun. So using explorer I look at joes share permissions and remove everyone replacing it with joe bloggs =full access, great works fine, until i move the cluster resourse over to the other node and unsurprisingly i lose joes rights and everyone appears again with full access rights. Doin my nut in now, am i doing something really dumb would access based enumeration help, please dont sugar the pill if i'm being a prat just say. Thanks for the help and abuse, i bow to your superior intellect
