urgent help needed

Hi, I am desperately in need of your assistance.

My computer was running Windows XP Media Center, then i decided to make a dualboot system with ubuntu.
After installing ubuntu, i then changed my mind and decided that i want to run XP MC alone.
So, I followed the following steps that i found on another website:
- deleted the linux partition
- created a new partition with the space
- boot with xp cd
- use fixboot and fixmbr to remove GRUB.

I did all of them, then, when i booted my pc, it came to a black screen saying

GRUB Loader
Error 17.

Afterwards, I proceeded to delete my RAID drives and making new ones (therefore they are now formated), then, I put the XP cd to the computer to install Windows.

However, it does not see my hard drives. It says "Unknown Drive" and when I press any button it says windows was shut down for security reasons.

And now, my PC will not boot at all, and i cannot install an OS.

HDD are seen in BIOS but not in windows setup

i am at a net cafe now and i need your help... desperately! thank you.

Hi and welcome to TSF

If its raid drives then you will need to install the drivers. They should have come with the drives. When you start windows setup watch the status bar (in the early stages of setup) and press F6 when prompted.

Drivers

Most pc's today have their HD controllers integrated on the motherboard and drivers available for download on the MB manufacturers website. You'll need the specific model # of the MB. Download to a floppy and hit F6 when given option to load 3rd party drivers during XP install (during initial step). Hope this helps..

PS - if you have a seperate HD controller board you'll be able to get the drivers from the controller board manufacturer's site (Not the drive manufacturer, unless they're the same)....
