Eplorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows
Hi,
Has anyone found any issues with the latest set of security patches issued by microsoft? Namely on Windows 2000 machines, resulting in typical 'explorer.exe has generated errors'. I have a couple of 2k box's that have had updates installed overnight, upon restart this morning they both now cannot login to the machines (including as Administrator / safe mode etc) I can't find anything on the MS site yet, I wonder if it is perhaps an isolated incident.... I *think* it has to be one of the following updates: KB912812 KB911567 (unlikely) KB908531 Cheers |
