None of my games work!!!

I have quite an old PC which up until recently was working fine. Recently however all of my games have ceased to work. I think this may be a problem with DirectX (I am running DirectX 9.0c). Can you help?!

try installing directx 9.0b
my computer did a similar thing. and this fixed mine

How do i install an older version ive herd it's pretty hard.

Do you get any error messages or do the games not even start?

Go to Start > Run and type dxdiag

Then run the DirectX tests under the Display tab.

Well, if nothing seems to work you can consider reformatting.

I get no error messages dxdiag says everything is working fine it's just not working. Could reformat i suppose.
